Authentic Marketing Comes from the Heart
Hype. Lies. Brainwashing.
Are these the kinds of words that come to mind when you think about marketing? Well, I'm creating a new paradigm for marketing that is authentic and comes from the heart. I believe that sharing your passion authentically is the best way to attract perfect customers.
The Law of Attraction states that those with a
similar energy are attracted to each other. How we are being, as well as how we
are marketing, determines whether or not our perfect customers will be drawn to
us, and whether they will recognize us when they do find us! There are people
out there who are seeking you, your products and services as well as your
personality, your approach, your mission.
Using Law of Attraction in your Marketing
When I consciously realize my perfect customers are seeking me now, my marketing takes on a different color. I realize that when my perfect customers find me (or my website, my post cards, my fliers, etc) they will only know me as who they are seeking if I am authentic and come from the heart in my marketing. If I am engaging in competitive marketing strategies or hype of any kind, my most perfect customers will pass right by me. But when I share my true self in my marketing, my perfect customers breathe a sigh of relief. They call me and say, “I know you’re the one I want to work with.”
I have studied closely with Jan Stringer who had created a Strategic Attraction PlanTM to help corporate salespeople and avant-garde entrepreneurs to attract their perfect customers.
The key question she was asking them to answer
was, "What makes you and your perfect customers tick?"
Put Your Passion into Your Marketing to Make it More Authentic
The question, "what makes you tick?" seemed innocent enough at first, but I discovered its
depth as I began to answer it. The idea is that if 'birds of a feather flock
together,' then the clearer we are about what makes us tick, the more we
attract people of like mind and heart, and the richer our relationships become.
I also discovered that when we relate our true life's calling to our offerings,
we see our businesses in a new light. Often this process opens a floodgate of rich
emotion and resonates to our core.
Even when we have seemingly divergent interests and expressions (ie graphic
designer, revolutionary journalist, public speaker, wild herb enthusiast,
magical marketer...) defining our "Tick" helps us to see how they are
all related.
My passion for beautiful and authentic
self expression that inspires transformation has defined all my
disparate activities and journeys. And it is that which draws my perfect
customers to me.
